Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

  RCIA is a process for supporting those not baptized who are interested in joining the Church through full initiation by Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  There are adaptations made for those already baptized in another Christian Church who wish to join the Catholic community.

The parish community of St. Thomas the Apostle seeks to constantly grow in this responsibility by identifying new ways for parish members to participate and by inviting new people into the long established ways of supporting the RCIA process.

Anyone interested in the RCIA process is asked to contact the parish office.  The program begins in September, with those making inquiries into the faith invited to participate in the Wednesday Generations of Faith adult program.  The schedule for remaining catechesis opportunities will be worked out with participants and catechists.
